Youth Spring Break Ecology Program - Stanley Park

Do you know high school students who are fascinated by our natural world, wanting to help our environment, looking to earn volunteer hours and gain work experience, and/or interested in working with other youth in the outdoors? If yes, then the Stanley Park Ecology Society's Youth Spring Break Ecology Program is the perfect opportunity.
This exciting and free program will run from March 9th to 12th (Spring Break), offering ten secondary school students the opportunity to earn volunteer hours and work in teams to restore habitat in Stanley Park. The students will manage invasive plant species, learn about west coast ecology and conservation issues, and develop organizational and leadership skills while working in a beautiful park setting!
