Sogo Active Youth Contest - Can You Fill These Shoes?

Challenge Deadline: October 29 2010
What:Youth between the ages of 13-18 are now able to create a competition challenge through the Can You Fill These Shoes link on the Sogo Active website. The deadline to get a challenge posted is October 29th. Once a challenge is posted youth can start recruiting friends/youth to their challenge.
Challenges must run for a four week period and all contest activities must be completed by November 26th, 2010. Youth can win the opportunity to be a Sogo Active Ambassador, including a $5,000 scholarship, Adidas gear and a Sportcheck gift card. Volunteer Opportunity: SHINERAMA Fundraiser

What:Shinerama is Canada’s largest post-secondary fundraiser, with all funds raised go to support the Canadian Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and its efforts to find a cure, or effective control for cystic fibrosis. We are looking for volunteers to help us with our primary fundraising event, Shine Day, on Saturday September 11th. Registration will begin at 9am at UBC Student Union Building and volunteers will spend the day washing cars, shining shoes and raising money for cystic fibrosis research all over Vancouver.

Southlands Country Fair
