  Register for the 2010 Young Parent Provincial Conference

What: The BC Alliance for Young Parents and BC Council for Families are holding Young Parents Moving Forward on October 22 in Vancouver. The goal of this year's conference is to educate and inform participants on current topics and critical issues affecting young parents -- from sexuality and relationships, substance abuse and homelessness, to adolescent development and parenting skills.

  Conversation Club for immigrant youth

Every Wed 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM

When: Weekly sessions starting July 21, 2010 from 2pm-4pm
Where: Moberly Elementary School ( 1000 East 59th Ave)
What: FREE. For immigrant youth in grades 10 - 12 from Gladstone, Churchill, David Thompson, and John Oliver who are struggling with using English confidently, and have a limited social network at their school or in their community.
