City Clerk's Office

Alison McEachern, from City Clerk's put together a couple fun activities for her Partners at Work students. Alison created a scavenger hunt activity, where the students were given a map of City Hall and clues. They went out on their own for the day and try to find the answers to the clues (i.e. This is the place you go to pay a parking ticket).

Alison took on two students last year. The students worked at the front reception and learned how to use the city's website for information, answering queries from the public and media, and data entry for updating the organizations on Quickfind. The student’s also sat in on a portion of a Council meeting and received a tour of the building.
