FCM 2005, Newfoundland
This was the youth booth at the 2005 annual Federation of Canadian Municipalities Conference. The FCM, as it's called for short, is the national voice of municipal governments in Canada. The FCM as it is now has been around since 1937, but the first national meeting of municipal leaders actually happened in 1901. The FCM continues to be a way for municipal governments to make their views, needs, and concerns heard on a national level.

Municipal leaders from all parts of Canada assemble annually to establish FCM policy on key issues.
