We are the City of Vancouver 's Youth Outreach Team!
The role of the Youth Outreach Team (YOT) is threefold:
- Support City staff: providing youth engagement expertise to City staff to ensure the inclusion of youth within programs and projects with civic engagement mandates.
- Support community partners: acting as a bridge between City staff and youth & youth community organizations
- Support youth and youth groups: functions as a guide for youth to understand and access the municipal system
In other words…we're "Conveners, Conveyors, and Connectors." We bridge the gaps between the rest of the City structure and the youth of Vancouver .
